Dr. Maisha Standifer has over 20 years experience in applied social science and public health. Her expertise includes program development and assessment in the fields of health policy, social determinants of health, health equity, and community-based participatory research. She is particularly interested in research relative to culture, health, and community-based education within the African Diaspora of the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Standifer received a Master's Degree in Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Spelman College.
